Speakers

Dr. Stephen Bailey will be our morning speaker laying the foundation for missional living in a global community. Steve is an associate professor of missiology and director of Alliance Graduate School of Mission at the Alliance Theological Seminary in New York. He is also the senior associate for the Institute for Global Engagement. Steve has been active in wholistic relief and development ministries with CAMA (Compassion and Mercy Associates) in Thailand and Laos for 17 years.

 

Jason Ostrander, our evening speaker will motivate us to develop a passion for Christ and to engage in His mission. Jason served as director of Student Ministries for the past six years at Moses Lake Alliance Church in Washington. Currently, he is pursuing a masters in Film and Theology at Regent College and is a volunteer youth pastor at a Taiwanese church in East Vancouver. Jason is an international conference speaker and film documentarian.

 

Jesús Londoño T, a Colombian, is the executive director of COMIBAM International.  Comibam serves the entire Spanish-speaking world for intercultural missions. In Colombia, Jesús was the executive director of the Colombian Center for World Missions and projects director of missions of the Colombian Board for Evangelicals for seven years. He has been a seminary professor and founded the AVANCEMOS missionary agency and has been a member of the OC International–SEPAL for Latin America since 1989. He has a bachelor’s degree in theology from Vision Bible University. Currently, he is studying for his master’s in Intercultural studies at Columbia Bible University.

 

Corban is a missionary band taking music and the gospel to remote places in Ecuador, Peru and Colombia. They have a passion to serve God in music and in missions. The pastors of this group are Rich and Elisa Brown, missionaries with the C&MA. One of Corban’s main goals is to raise money from Latino youth for the Garbage Dump Ministries in Peru. The band is represented by youth in five cities of Latin America.
